Author Bio:
The author is a veteran of 28 years in the U.S. Army. He spanned the period from the end of World War II through the end of the Vietnam conflict. He entered the service from his home state of Kentucky and rose through the ranks fromn private to lieutenant colonel. Colonel Oglesby served in Airborne, Special Forces, Special Operations and was a battalion commander of the 3rd Battalion, first infantry in 1968 in Vietnam. During his career he was awarded two Silver Stars, the Legion of merit, the Distinguished Flying Cross, seven Bronze Stars, Purple Heart and numerous Army and Air Force commendation metals. Colonel Oglesby now lives in retirement with his wife, Grace, in Seffner, Florida where he keeps busy writing and fishing. An agent of a super-sensitive agency of the federal government comes up on retirement.
