During the past fifty years, he worked as a commercial pilot, pipeline contractor, technical magazine engineering editor and pipeline construction consultant. Attended San Jacinto College and the University of Houston, taking classes in journalism and technical writing. Completed four journalism school courses by correspondence. A member of the Bay Area Writers League.
