Mrs. Amy Beecroft Brown was born in Montreal, Canada. Her parents were Frank and Jane Beecroft. Since Amy Brown grew up during the Great Depression, she appreciated the simple things in life. Her book, Poems by Amelia, was written from the heart, soul and wisdom of a mature woman. Amy Beecroft Brown is the wife of 1st Lieutenant Morris Crenshaw Brown, a World War II Army Officer. She is the mother of Marvin, Keith, Sharon and Warren. Mrs. Brown is also the grandmother of Laura, Aaron, Kelley and Jessica. Mrs. Amy Beecroft Brown resides in Plant City, Florida. Her poetry captures what it means to be a mother, grandmother and the simple pleasures life has to offer.
