the Author: |
Pearl Harbor occurred in December of 1941. I left college to enlist as a Private months later in 1942. I applied and qualified for flight training and was eventually awarded my silver wings as an officer and fighter dive bomber pilot. Overseas I flew more than 100 missions and sorties in combat in my single engine, single seat P47 Thunderbolt. After discharge I moved my family to Southeast Florida where I have resided for the past fifty years. I retired as president and C.E.O. of two successful corporations: Synergy Financial and Pension Council. My two professional sons reside in Hawaii and South Florida respectively.
