About Our Book:
This biography is the story of a rural Nebraska farm boy that entered the service during the Korean War. His luck ran out during the Kumsong Salient, the last major battle of the Korean War, when he was captured by the Chinese. He tells of the battle that lasted a night that seemed to never end. He tells of the conditions, treatment, food and actual events. Although he was not captured a long duration of time, the book tells the story of the experience of someone that the affects everyone different. At last comes something that most everyone in this country takes for granted: Freedom.
