| About
Our Book: |
"Teaching: A Survival manual for the First Year" will infuriate some and instruct all others regardless of the authors claim that his intent is to do no more than provide humorous food for thought and good advice for teachers. The education business is in big trouble. All areas from teacher training, funding, and methodologies used to teach students are under attack. We all share the blame for this mess we once flaunted to the civilized world as the best that could be provided. This book explores the reasons why four out of five good teachers leave the business within their first five years in the classroom. Dr. Profitt provides humorous advice about university schools of education, school supervisors, teachers, and kids.
