Donald E. Price has a Masters Degree in Communications Studies from California State University, Sacramento (CSUS). To obtain this degree he wrote a Master's Project on his diagnosis with Multiple Sclerosis. This project is currently housed at the CSUS campus library. He hopes to turn this project into a screenplay in the near future.Donald also has a Bachelors Degree from UC-Santa Barbara (UCSB). During his freshman year at UCSB, he had a weekly column in the campus newspaper exploring the history and contributions of African Americans in the United States.
A Broadcasting Degree was acquired from The Columbia School of Broadcasting that enhanced his skills as a communicator. Donald wrote, scripted and edited all the copy used to produce the work for this degree. He refined his interviewing skills with hands-on experience speaking with various people in the San Francisco Bay Area.
An internship at a public radio station in Berkeley, CA helped refine his communication skills even further. Here his project centered on the importance of Jackie Robinson's social impact, being the first African American to play baseball in the 20th century.
Donald is blessed with a wonderful wife, Rita who aids and assists with all of his writing projects. She is a woman of immense talent and great resilience. Without her creativity and patience, he would be hard-pressed to continue with his writing endeavors!
When Donald is not at his computer, you can find him listening to mystery and western novels from the Braille & Talking Book Library via cassette tapes. He has six loving grandsons that he cherishes dearly. You can find him giving rides on his wheelchair to the younger grandsons, while the older ones can be found searching through his candy containers for treats.
