Our Book: |
A man has to make a choice between love and faith... This is the Book "The Second Sin."
A man faces a tragic death on Earth. He leaves behind on Earth his three daughters. He "reincarnates" (in this case, reincarnation is linked to God) in a parallel world, the world that Adam and Eve were expulsed from.
God has given humanity a second chance to live in paradise. God has imposed another Sin that cannot be made because if it is made (by anyone), they will be expulsed the same way Adam and Eve did for committing the Original Sin. The man, named Joshua, has to choose if he wants to stay on paradise forever and live a divine human life or prefers defying God and committing The Second Sin to visit his daughters for one last time.
This book is about love, faith, life, death, and important lessons that apply to our lives. It tries to seek the reason of death and the reason to life itself. It is a book for all ages (teen and up) and for every religion. The book focuses on humanity after death, and on lessons about life from an interesting point of view (what happens after a person dies? Is life in paradise similar to the one on earth?) and even though it talks about God it does not prescribe to any one religion. It is a book that is told from the author's point of view. This means that what is told is not necessarily true. It gives the reader the opportunity to compare the lessons that appear on the book with the reader's life. The reader decides whether or not to agree with what the author tries to tell about people's lives and humanity itself. It is a book everyone must have. Preview a Chapter. |

| About
the Author: |
Hello, I come from the beautiful Island of Puerto Rico. I enjoy writing poetry and books (this is my first book) on life itself. I love to write and philosophize about the good things, and the bad things that life offer us. In this way, I spread to the World my point of view on issues concerning life; and try to leave always an empty space for my readers to analyze, agree or not, on what I write and try to say. I love life, the ups and downs of it, and the fact it is so complicated; I'm always seeking the meaning to it and a way of enjoying it more. Besides writing, I love sports, nature and a good chat with anybody on any subject. I accept any critique (constructive) on any matter; this way we will learn from each other and our lives would be more complete. Finally, I love to help people; so if there is anything I can do for you just contact me.
Fernando majored in Biology at U.P.R. University Mayaguez, Puerto Rico. He has self-published "The Second Sin," in the fiction/religion genre. He has ten poems that are being published in Nature's Echoes at poetry.com. Fernando is currently working as a teacher and a second-year law-student.
