| About
Our Book: |
| "The EVADEE" is a true exciting story about a 23 year old American airman's experiences in evading capture for almost 2 months behind enemy lines during WWII. This book reads more like a fictional novel, presenting a vivid verbal picture of aerial combat with the 450th Bomb Group, while flying B-24s, the Liberators. Read about this Group known as the "Cottontails." The story, as told, is colored with humor, suspense, mystery, and sacrifice, before and after the airman is shot down by enemy fire. Would you believe that it even includes a published poem written by the author, while he was being hunted by the Germans? |
