About Our Book:
Ginny Troost grew up in the back woods of Tennessee in an abusive family. Her one true friend was a black man names George. When George was wrongly jailed for murder, Ginny set out to free him. With the help of a hobo named Bud, who had dreams of his own, she freed George and the three of them rode the rails to safety until someone had to go back and clear George's name. The story is set in the forties and fifties and depicts life as it might have been for an uneducated country girl of that era.
Number of pages:112
