I am a mother of two sons, who have given me a reason to live. I am a person who observes life, even to the point of picking out pictures in the clouds, there for all to see, but could have been observed only by me just before they slipped away. I have been putting my thoughts on paper for many years. Poetry seeps through my veins and into my heart, and cries out from within...for an escape route to be released. Poetry helps me slay dragons and conquer myself. Writing gives me inner peace and something to do when overwhelmed or unable to sleep at night. Being a semi-finalist for Poetry.Com and having my poem "Wheel of Misfortune" published, gave me the courage to finish "A Stolen Dream - Listen Up Ladies." Also, writing "Special Thoughts (A Collection of 70 Poems)" comes out of the sheer fact of living...thinking, watching, listening and feeling.
