| About
Our Book: |
"The Last Mayan Warrior" is the adventure packed story of a young Mexican boy that was captured in the late 19th century by Mayan Indians, during the Caste War. Although badly treated by the Indians at first, eventually he is adopted by a village chieftain and his lot improves. Over the years he grows up to become one of the Mayans most successful military leaders, and commands over 10,000 battle ready warriors in their fight against the hated Mexican army. The book is based on the life story of Juan Bautista Vega, who died in 1969, at the age of eighty-three.
