| About
Our Book: |
Terrorism is a terrible thing, yet, what if the threat of terrorism is the only possibility to save humanity? It is 2017 and, with population levels at 15 billion, the forests depleted, the oceans destroyed and smoke clogging the atmosphere, the earth has gone beyond saturation point. It is inevitable that all human life on the planet will die within three years, unless something drastically changes. Maximillian Dorphant knows what that must be and he has the means to make people listen.
This novel is not just about the terrible choices that must be made, nor is it only about what happens when a civilization collapses, it is also about what will be put back in the place of that which used to be. Fundamental attitudes need to change and each individual must find the courage and understanding to follow his or her own truth.

| About
the Author: |
Naveena Shine has an abiding fascination for how the human mind, emotions and consciousness create the huge variety of social structures that are prevalent on this earth. In this novel she interweaves this theme with a dynamic and fascinating plot that brings the reader in touch with their own responsibility and the possibility of hope for the future.
Naveena has an Honors degree in Psychology from Liverpool University. She has spent ten years teaching in elementary schools in England, Tanzania and Abu Dhabi. Since she came to America in 1984 she has enjoyed a whole host of occupations. These range from working in bars, on farms and in a sheet metal shop to caring for the elderly and being an extra in a movie.
In the meantime she has traveled the world over and has spent a lot of time investigating different modes of thought and being. Presently she is residing in an Intentional community in Redmond WA and engaging in an experiment in harmonious living.
