Our Book: |
"Good Heavens" and "Baby Dolls Don't Die" are just the first two of many stories that will be a part of an on-going series called, The Generation-X Chronicles. "Good Heavens" portrays two teenaged boys, Micah and Anvil, who have both left home because of family conflicts. They meet on common ground to talk about and compare their lives. Micah, the character whom "Good Heavens" centers around, encounters problems with his recently divorced mother after discovering that she has begun dating again. His objective is to prove to his mother that there are more important things in life than dating, namely, Micah himself.
"Baby Dolls Don't Die" is a story that is set back in the 1930's. Adam is the eldest and only son of Nora and Lincoln Eubanks. After discovering a family secret, Adam decides to take matters into his own hands by making certain this secret is never revealed. He has no idea how much destruction lies in one small decision. |

| About
the Author: |
Paulette presently resides in New York City. She has known that she was destined to be a writer ever since that day in the fourth grade when Miss Jergens asked the class to write one sentence using the word "fireplace", and Paulette ended up writing half of a page. So at the tender age of eight, Paulette would often find someplace where she could be alone to write little stories. One such story was about a sister that had not yet existed. Although at the time she had an older brother, Paulette badly wanted a little sister. So she began writing stories about having a sister she could play with. Well, after enough stories had been written, Mom finally gave birth to the sister Paulette had always prayed for. And that sister actually came in handy, because it was she who designed the cover for this book. (Thanks Pam). But the story does not end there. Though Paulette had written about wanting a baby sister only, she also received a baby brother to follow that sister. And then another sister was born, and still one more sister followed her. And it was to be another eight years before Paulette even bothered to pick up a pen to write anymore stories. Finally, all of this goes to prove one thing: THAT ONE SHOULD NEVER UNDERESTIMATE THE POWER OF WRITING.
