| About
the Author: |
ROY LAMBERT was born in Monticello, Arkansas, went to a one-room schoolhouse at the age of two, at Campground Arkansas, and graduated from Drew High School in Monticello, Ark., which is the County seat of Drew County. He worked as a sharecropper, a pro singer on the chittlin circuit, a cotton picker, a Dee Jay, pro gambler, a hustler, a writer, a poet, and the author of his first book, Lamb, The Hip CAT Daddy.
Odd facts; he taught the Jackson five how to sing…he invented the format as a Dee jay that was, and is used when playing disco music, along with a lot of other music.
