| About
Our Book: |
An agent of a super-sensitive agency of the federal government comes up on retirement. When he arrives in Dallas, Texas to begin a search for a retirement location, the agent spots a former Russian agent who has been on the target list of his former agency. When he notifies his former boss of having spotted the man he is returned to active duty with the agency to continue his efforts against him. The chase takes John Reston from Dallas to California, where he finds not just the one former enemy agent but a gang of them. They are involved in drugs, truck highjacking, selling hot merchandise and money laundrying. Their network is nationwide and in his efforts to apprehend the former enemy agent John Reston finds several beautiful women, with the enemy agents killing one of them before he can intervene. This is a story of counter-espionage,the give and take between our country and its former enemies from the Communist world. The cold war has ended but the players in those games between the United States and the Communists are still about. A read of how our former enemies have made the United States their target for criminal goals.
