About Our Book:
A young Special Forces soldier from Amarillo, Texas is with a six-man LRRP (Long Range Recon Patrol) in the high mountain peaks of the tri-border area of South Vietnam. A terrible electrical storm convinces the team to move to lower terrain, but during the move a double lightening bolt strikes the young soldier and he along with all the equipment he has on him, is transported back in time 97 years. It is a period of sailing ships and with voyages lasting a year or more from where he is in Vietnam to the United States. The French controls all of indo-China and are despots to the Vietnamese people.

The young soldier must get himself home, to a place that has not even been a named town. He must cross the Southwestern US through Apache Indians on the warpath, the horrible terrain of Arizona and New Mexico, and renegade white people all wanting his powerful M-60 machine gun.

He has tried to figure out what he will find at his home town. Will his grandparents be there? For he knows his parents have not even been born yet. He wonders for what reason had he been sent back in time. An exciting read of a fantasy adventure of a man who unwillingly is sent back to face the perils of that time.
