About Our Book:
The illusory nature of time haunts the eccentric characters in these twelve unconventional stories, most set in exotic tropical locations. An American businessman in Asia meets a mysterious woman who compels him to confront the possibility of his own reincarnation. A youth lost in the Florida Everglades redeems himself through an ancient legend. An Air Force veteran overcomes his amnesia to recall the affair he had with a married servicewoman during the Vietnam war. A desperate young man confronts the forces of nature on a lonely islet. A camper in Hawaii wakes up to find his wife missing and experiences a startling revelation. An American fugitive flees to a Costa Rican jungle with his lover only to discover why it is called green hell. And the American owner of a small tourist hotel in Mexico is going loco trying to cope with strange guests, suicidal frogs, a ganster who wants to kill him, and the nagging ghost of his dead wife.
