for his earlier work on Churchill (Alternative
to Churchill -The Eternal Bondage)the

decisive and imaginative attempt to
RESCUE President Clinton out of the
then closing in impeachment . This is
a story of how the author himself being
the conceiver of the idea could also
be the carrier of it to the President
suggesting a very special speech to
the joint session of US Congress which
could take the President out of certain
impeachment leading to the victory of
the "will of the American people" thus
keeping his supporters and detractors
both happy without frustrating either
of them .

FOREIGNER at that a non-English speaking
one (mother tongue not English )about
an American President ( Clinton ) .It

even if the events touched the worst
anti-climax against him .He could use

defence in order to save himself from
being ousted .

in the story of the book is exonerated
by the Congress only , through a special
resolution . He is "pardoned" by Congress
following his open admission of the
"crime" before a joint session offering
his apology .

with a sentence of gratitude by the
President towards the American people
whose support in fact was the "ultimate"
defence of the President in reality
too. This is quite in keeping with the
title of the book namely ULTIMATE DEFENCE
.

15. In the key
chapter "The Speech and the Aftermath"
a unique fact of the life of the President
namely his being a "fatherless child"
has been used to invoke the highest
emotions in his defence . The real qualities
of President Clinton like hugging with
affection, publicly crying in sorrow
and picking up ideas have also been
capitalised upon to give it a genuine
form .
16. Humour is an
essential feature of the book throughout
the text in order to give the story
a lighter touch inspite of a serious
subject of impeachment .
17. The book is
a typical combination of historical
and science fiction.
18. The author
is the only man in the world who tried
to HELP the President "through a literary
CREATION " which is this book .
19. This is a
time sensitive , personality sensitive
work.
20. This book
had been sent to the Speaker of the
Lower House ,Minority and Majority leaders
of both the Houses , to the Chief Justice
presiding over the proceedings , to
the Chairman of the House Judiciary
Committee and several other prominent

of the actual impeachment process .
No one can say it influenced the outcome
of the proceedings .But this is impossible

more Senators had rebelled against him

the Author
– " The author -Inder
Dan Ratnu - belongs to what is considered
a intellectual/poet community called
CHARAN of Rajasthan State of the North-Western
India . Rajasthan having Jaipur , Udaipur
, Jodhpur,Bikaner and Jaisalmer cities
is famous for its mighty forts , sprawling
palaces ,beautiful mansions,the history
full of love stories/ chivalry/poetry,colourful
dresses and melodious music .Ratnu is
a farmer ,bank officer, poet, writer,
singer, musician, drawing artist, cartoonist
and a man of many scientific ideas including
a one appreciated by late Prime Ministers
-Mr.Morarji Desai and Mrs.Indira Gandhi
.Ratnu has served as an Additional Private
Secretary to a Union Minister in the
cabinet of late Rajiv Gandhi . He has
also been reciting Winston Churchill's
war speeches as an item of entertainment
for the people since 1974 . He has earlier
written two books about Churchill winning
the appreciation of all the five living
American Presidents ,President of France
and four former British PMs. Ratnu although
currently resides at Jaipur- the Pink
City of India yet he is in fact a domicile
of a village near POKARAN where India
carried out her nuclear explosions.This
is situated in the district of Jaisalmer
- a city housing the world famous golden
fort .In 1997 after 23 years of service
as Bank Officer he resigned to devote
his remaining life for the memory of
Winston Churchill who he claims defended
the world cause of FREEDOM &DEMOCRACY
at a very critical time in the history
of mankind .Meanwhile President Clinton
crossed his path not only like the author
himself as a Churchill admirer but also
like himself a good beneficiary of Churchill's
work .The author viewed with admiration
the gears of freedom and democracy being
fully engaged in the rise and the possible
fall of Clinton through the impeachment
process .Being an admirer of President
Clinton he therefore activated his own
engines of freedom in defence of the
