You’ve always known there was a book lurking
inside you, waiting to be released. Now, you
have completed your novel. It’s been edited
and polished and is as near perfect as you can
imagine. You collect the names and addresses
of publishing houses and agents, make copies
of your manuscript, address the envelopes, and
take them to the Post Office. Then you wait.
You receive a few submissions back, their tattered
envelopes stamped “unsolicited mail.” You receive
other packages, stuffed with our epic and a
kind, “thanks, but no thanks” note. You know
there is a market for your book, and begin to
research other publishing options. You type
“how to publish,” “how to get published, “ and
any other variation of the words you can think
of into a search engine. Pages of results appear,
and you begin to see the words “self-publish”
in many of the entries. You click on one, and
learn that for a mere $15,000, you can have
your manuscript edited and published and you
will receive 5000 copies. Where are you going
to get $15,000? You aren’t sure how to market
and sell your novel, so what are you going to
do with 5000 copies? You continue researching,
finding many guides on how to get published.
Then, you stumble across www.eBookstand.com,
a subsidiary of CyberRead, Inc.
At Bookstand Publishing, for less than $1500,
you can publish your book, complete with a fantastic
cover. You receive 52 copies of the book, the
ability to sell your book on the site, and a
marketing guide, “10 Step Quick Start Program.”
You also have the ability to print your book
on demand. You can order as few as 25 copies
of your book to sell on your own. You’ll receive
much higher royalties (as much as 30% of the
cover price) than you would have through one
of the impersonal publishing giants! Best of
all, a successful self-published book has a
great chance on being picked up by a traditional
publisher!
You are welcome to read, learn from and enjoy
